GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — West Michigan employers will receive more than $12 million in training funds, according to West Michigan Works.

They say 283 West Michigan employers will be notified that their applications will result in funds ranging between $1,500 and $498,284.

“We are grateful to the governor, our legislators and our chambers of commerce for their work to restore this support for employers and workers,” says West Michigan Works! CEO Jacob Maas. “These funds truly impact our communities.”

We’re told four applications amounting to $240,494 are still pending.
