SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. — A man was rescued from Lake Michigan after he and a woman fell off the pier.
Red Flags were flying at the time of the incident, but witnesses say the woman was pulled off by waves and the man jumped in to rescue her.
A nearby South Haven Area Emergency Services (SHAES) responder was able to get the man out of the water with the help of a Good Samaritan.
SHAES tells FOX 17 the woman was able to make it to shore on her own. Both people and the SHAES responder were taken to Bronson-South Haven Hospital.
