COLDWATER, Mich. — A Coldwater man was arrested twice Saturday morning, once for shoplifting and once for fleeing from a cop car.
The shoplifitng incident occurred at 10:30 a.m., when Walmart Employees tried to stop a man from shoplifting.
The man fled the store on foot before being located and arrested by Coldwater police.
The 29-year-old suspect with multiple warrants was able to forcefully escape from the back of a cop car on the way to jail.
After he escaped, cops chased him on foot and were able to arrest him again.
The man has been lodged at the Branch County Jail.
