GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The average price of gasoline is 13.5 cents per gallon higher this week at $2.08.
But that is 25 cents lower than the same date last year, and four cents lower than five years ago.
The average price in Kalamazoo was $2.04, up 12.1 cents a gallon. Last week’s average was $1.92.
According to reports to the GasBuddy apps by drivers, the cheapest station price in Grand Rapids is $1.70/gallon, and the most expensive price paid is $2.15/gallon.
The national average price is $2.12, down 4.3 cents from a month ago.
The GasBuddy gathers information on Michigan’s average gas prices through a daily survey of 246 stations.
