(WXYZ) — Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores are holding their annual New Year's Day sale, offering 50 percent off clothing at their locations in southeast Michigan.
The sale kicks off on Jan. 1 with most of the locations opening at 10 a.m., according to a press release.
“Shopping at Salvation Army Family Thrift Stores helps families and individuals all across southeast Michigan – it can help save money in such uncertain times, as well as help those who are struggling with alcohol and substance abuse,” said Envoy Jacqulynn Idzior, administrator of business for The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center, in a press release. “Every dollar spent supports individuals who are working towards a fresh start in our 180-day residential rehabilitation program.”
The stores are allowing a 30 percent store capacity as they are following COVID-19 safety guidelines.
