BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Detectives on on the lookout for a shooting suspect after a man was shot early Wednesday morning.
Benton Township Police say officers were called to a home on Jennings Ave. near Donald Adkins Dr. around 1 a.m.
They found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right arm and chest. The man told officers he was sitting in his car in the driveway when the shot was fired. He was sent to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Police say the victim was not able to identify the shooter. Detectives are asking any tips be called into their bureau at (269) 925-1135.
