ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Police responded to a traffic accident involving two vehicles in Robinson Township Monday night.

The crash happened near 120th Avenue on Lake Michigan Drive, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

We’re told the accident involved a tan GMC Denali, driven by a 68-year-old man from Zeeland, and a tan Honda CRV, which was driven by a 21-year-old woman from Grand Haven.

Police say the driver of the Honda CRV failed to yield when pulling out of a gas station onto Lake Michigan Drive, adding that the driver of the Denali was unable to avoid crashing into the Honda.

Authorities tell us both drivers were taken to North Ottawa Hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
