COOPERSVILLE, Mich. — Emergency responders arrived on the scene of a crash at East Street and Cleveland Street in Coopersville Friday night.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, who say one occupant was pinned inside a vehicle.

We’re told that an investigation concluded that a 45-year-old Marne resident drove past the stop sign on Cleveland Street in their pickup truck before colliding into a northbound Nissan vehicle, which police say was driven by a 49-year-old from Ravenna.

The resulting impact shoved the pickup into a third vehicle, according to police.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office says the driver of the pickup truck was extricated by a rescue team, adding that the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries. We’re told the Nissan driver was taken to Mercy Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
