Muskegon County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a string of invalid concealed pistol licenses issued over nearly a year.

The CPL classes were offered at a facilities on South Dangl Road or Cherry Court in Muskegon Charter Township.

Deputies say they were able to confirm one of the instructors at these facilities taught classes that "do not meet the legal requirements" and therefore violate Michigan Firearms Act 372 of 1927. The instructor would've issued course completion certificates between September 1st, 2019 and August 10th, 2020.

Certificates filed with the Muskegon County Clerk's Office are being investigated. Police ask that if you got your CPL at either location, please contact them at 231-724-7126 or Silent Observer at (231) 72-CRIME (27463).
