KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 30-year-old Kalamazoo resident was hospitalized with a gunshot wound around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
While dealing with what they call an "uncooperative crowd" around Woodbury Ave. and Florence St., Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers heard gunshots nearby.
They found the victim wounded by gunfire on Woodbury Ave. near Quality Transmission Inc and the North Pole Party Store.
While the victim is expected to be ok, there is no word yet on a possible suspect.
