KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A 19-year-old Kalamazoo resident has been arrested after authorities found drugs and a stolen assault rifle in his vehicle.
Around midnight this morning on Alamo Avenue near Douglas Apartments, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers pulled over a vehicle in relation to X-Train activity.
The suspect got out and ran, but was quickly apprehended and brought down. Further investigation revealed narcotics and a stolen rifle from the City of Kalamazoo. The 19-year-old has been booked at Kalamazoo County Jail on multiple weapons offenses.
