KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A preliminary examination will be held today in the case of People v. Mosley.
Michael Mosley is the Battle Creek man who has been charged with manslaughter and child abuse in the death of Cornelius Fredericks.
A Preliminary Examination is an evidentiary hearing held to determine whether there is probable cause to believe that a crime was committed and that the defendant committed it.
Both parties requested the examination be conducted. That examination is set to happen today (Wednesday, Oct. 21) in the 8th District Court (227 W Michigan Ave.) at 1:30 p.m.
