Update 7:30 a.m. 6/20/20 - Richards is now in custody.
Juan Cortez Richards, Jr. is wanted for attempted murder 8 days after being released from jail on suspicion of the same crime against the same victim.
Richards was in custody on suspicion of attempted murder, felony firearm, and Domestic Assault 3rd until June 10th when he was released on a conditional bond. He is now accused of assaulting the same victim with a firearm and is wanted for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon by Kalamazoo Public Safety.
Richards is described as a 23 year-old black male, 5’09, about 170 lbs and should be considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen at Fox Ridge Apartment Complex with a handgun.
