KALAMAZOO, Mich. — A K9 officer and his handler are being credited with tracking down an alleged armed robbery suspect.
It happened around 4 a.m. Thursday on the Northside of Kalamazoo at a home near Krom and Prouty Streets.
Officers responded to reports of a suspect in a home with a gun committing a robbery, according to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety.
The victim told police the suspect had stolen money and took off from the scene.
The 38-year-old suspect was arrested on multiple felony charges.
