MARSHALL, Mich. — A man has been arrested for running from authorities after a Deputy tried to pull him over.
The chase started on Cherry St. near W. Green St. around 7:57 p.m. Saturday night, and continued for several blocks.
The driver stopped his vehicle and tried to get away on foot, but was stopped by the deputy and a Marshall Police Officer after "a brief struggle."
An ambulance was called to evaluate the suspect, although no one was hurt in the chase.
The 23-year-old Battle Creek resident was held at the Calhoun County Jail for multiple charges.
