BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Midwest Regional Administrator Joseph P. Galvan and Mayor Mark Behnke say they will make a "major" announcement Wednesday on health and safety funding.
Few clues were given, but the announcement will be held at Battle Creek's City Hall at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Galvan and Behnke will be joined by City of Battle Creek Community Development Manager, Christopher Lussier, and remind anyone attending to wear masks and respect social distancing practices.
