BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A 62-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured during a hit-and-run crash Thursday morning in Battle Creek.
It happened about 6:50 a.m. on Dickman Road east of Clark Road, according to a news release.
When emergency personnel arrived, they found the man laying in the road with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle that hit him – a 32-year-old man – returned to the scene several minutes later.
The victim was transported to the hospital and reconstructionists processed the scene.
Police continue to investigate.
