KENTWOOD, Mich. — An apparent water main break has closed one lane of eastbound 28th Street in Kentwood.
The break has closed Shaffer Avenue in Kentwood between 28th Street and 29th Street.
A supervisor at the scene tells FOX 17 that the break happened late last night and that crews have been working throughout the morning.
As of now the plumbing has been fixed but crews are still working to fill the hole.
A crew will be called in later today to repave and finish the road.
Work is expected to be complete by Monday afternoon.
