EAST GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Reeds Lake Run, a favorite for runners for 42 years, will not be held this year. It was scheduled for June 27, 2020.
There are several athletic events in East Grand Rapids use Reeds Lake as a focus, including a triathlon, but the Reeds Lake Run had developed into the focus of a flurry of events, with kids’ races and even a doggie dash.
Organizers said there still was too much uncertainty over large gatherings during this pandemic period.
Anyone who had already signed up and paid fees will be refunded in the next few weeks.
