COMSTOCK PARK, Mich. — The precautionary boil water advisory for Plainfield Charter Township has been lifted, officials announced Wednesday morning.
The advisory had been put into effect Monday for part of downtown Comstock Park because of a water main break that occurred early Monday morning along West River Drive, according to a news release.
Officials say multiple bacteriological tests of the water in the area over the last 48 hours have come back negative, so the water is safe for consumption.
