COOPERSVILLE, Mich. — Lori's Voice, an organization helping children with special needs, has officially canceled their annual Walk for the Challenged.
Dave and Lori Hastings announced on Facebook it was not possible to have the walk and adhere to social distancing.
"Because all of you know of the circumstances out of our control, we will not be able to have the crowd and fellowship that we all have come to know and love." The post read. "We still refuse to turn our backs on our Lori's Voice families."
Lori Hastings said they will continue to help bring mobility devices to special needs children and plan to use social media sometime in the fall for a fundraiser.
