Update from Monday, July 20, at 6 p.m.: The Kent County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Boorsma has been found.
Officers are performing medical assistance on the scene now to ensure Boorsma's safety.
5:20 p.m.: Officers from the Kent County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's assistance in searching for a missing, endangered 79-year-old man.
Ronald Charles Boorsma has medical conditions that require medication, but it is not believed that he has the needed medication on his person.
Boorsma was last seen at his residence at the 8400 block of McCords Avenue SE, around 11:30 a.m. this morning.
Ronald is described as a white man who is approxiamately 5'9" and 180 pounds, and may be wearing tan shorts and a tan t-shirt.
