WALKER, Mich. — You can arrange to meet your next possible pet with the reopening to the public of the West Michigan Humane Society in Walker.
The WMHS facility opened Monday to be available for people to meet pets by appointment.
The process may not be fast. Applications for appointments will be reviewed. Applicants will then be called for a consultation. Then appointments will be arranged.
At the Society’s facility, face masks are required for visitors, volunteers, and staff, along with social distancing.
HSWM currently has quite a few animals in foster homes, so visitors will not be able to meet those animals, but they will be available for virtual No Contact Adoptions.
