ROCKFORD, Mich. — Firefighters and police officers helped celebrate Maverik Faasen's 8th birthday from his front porch Tuesday.
Coronavirus kept the Faasen's at home, so first responders drove by their house with their lights and sirens blaring.
His mom, Bobbi Tice Faasen said in a Facebook post, "Happy 8th birthday (in quarantine) Maverik! One to remember... your class sings you happy birthday via a zoom meeting and the local firetrucks honk (and bring out the neighbors! Ha)."
They also hung signs from their front window that said "Honk for Maverik's 8th birthday!"
In a Facebook message to Fox 17, Bobbi said "He declared it was one of his best birthdays yet!"
