GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Grand Rapids police have identified the victim in a fatal stabbing Sunday morning on the city’s southeast side.
It happened at 5:45 a.m. at a home on Bates Street between Dolbee and Neland avenues. When police got to the scene, they found 55-year-old Tracy Hunter with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene and the medical examiner has ruled his death was a homicide.
Investigators say there may have been an argument between the victim and the suspect before the stabbing.
A suspect is in custody.
