GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police say no one was hurt during a shooting Sunday night, but an apartment was hit by gunfire.
A caller to 9-1-1 told dispatchers that at least 6 shots rang out around 6:30 p.m. on Oak Park Drive. One of the shot went through a nearby apartment, but did not hit anyone inside.
Minutes later, more shots were reported on Norman Drive, which sits across old train tracks from Oak Park Drive.
Witnesses told police the shots came from a white Lexus SUV, and the vehicle appeared to be chasing a man who was running from it.
Police say that man, and anyone inside the SUV are unknown.
