GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Power is slowly being restored to more than 100 traffic signals in the city of Grand Rapids after a squirrel caused an outage at a electrical substation.
City officials say a total of 109 traffic signals lost power, impacting many downtown traffic lights and city buildings.
Power is expected to be completely restored by noon.
Drivers are reminded to treat any light that is not working as a four-way stop.
