GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Police identified the man found dead near a wooded trail in Grand Rapids over the weekend.
Investigators say 45-year-old Mearl Evan was spotted early Sunday morning near the Oxford Street and Norwich Avenue intersection on the city's Southeast side.
Police labeled his death as suspicious in an initial release. The cause of his death is still being investigated.
