GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Spectrum Health is extending its cancellation of all non-emergency care in response to the coronavirus outbreak.

The decision pushes back non-emergency appointments, procedures and surgeries until April 20, according to Spectrum Health today.

On March 17, Spectrum first canceled non-emergency care, saying it would be for two weeks.

Patients with scheduled non-emergency care will be contacted by their provider.

Spectrum said people with questions should contact their doctor's office.
