NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. — Newaygo County Emergency Services is notifying seniors 65 and up that they have three options to register for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The first option is to fill out the waitlist registration via this link. When the vaccine becomes available, those registered will receive an email to schedule an appointment.

The second option is to call 231-715-5557. Newaygo County officials advise against registering via both options.

Eligible seniors also have the option to register with Spectrum Health. They may do so by creating a MyChart account here and selecting “Questionnaires” from the “Health” menu at the top of the screen. When the time comes to schedule an appointment, Spectrum Health will notify them through MyChart.

Newaygo County Emergency Services stresses that the above options are for signing up to be put on a waitlist, not to make appointments to receive the vaccine.
