Michigan reports 1,289 new COVID-19 cases, 56 more deaths

MICHIGAN — 1,289 new cases of coronavirus are confirmed in Michigan. The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reports an additional 56 deaths connected to COVID-19 on Saturday, March 6.

There are 596,054 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 15,666 total deaths in Michigan.

As of March 6, 541,258 have recovered from the virus.

A total of 3,031,775 vaccines have been distributed, and 2,505,493 doses have been administered.
