Metro Health releases first COVID-19 survivor through gauntlet of applause

WYOMING, Mich. — The first patient to be released from Metro Health after battling COVID-19 was met with applause and cheers as they were wheeled to the elevator. The hospital posted a video to their Facebook page Friday.

The patient was wrapped in blankets, but managed to wave to Metro Health caregivers in the hallway.
