KENT COUNTY, Mich. — Kent District Library will close its branches to in-person visits starting next week our of caution as COVID-19 cases surge.
Curbside pickup, online programs and expanded online resources will still be available, a news release said Thursday.
The closure will begin Nov. 16.
“The closure of several branches over the past couple weeks has made it clear that we must take further steps in response to the COVID-19 pandemic,” Executive Director Lance Werner said. “The safety of people who visit the library and our staff is our utmost priority.”
