GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. — Right now we could all use a little bit of humor in our lives and maybe even a place to vent about what’s going on in our homes.
One woman has started a Facebook group where you can keep it real and do just that.
It’s called “Quarantine Confessions” and it will definitely make you smile and know you’re not alone when it comes to sleeping in until 2 pm or wearing the same outfit three days in a row.
There are hundreds of members from all over Michigan and a few other states posting their daily confessions:
- “Put jeans on today. I give it zero stars, do not recommend”
- "I had two bowls of Frosted Flakes and french fries for dinner last night”
- “I sat in my car last night and ate chocolate while hiding from my kids and husband”
These are just a few examples, but there’s a constant flow of funny memes and videos that most people can relate to.
The group is all about keeping it real, even if people are having an off day. The comments are sure to lift their spirits up.
It all started when Brittney Fraiser of Flushing, Michigan, was posting confessions on her personal Facebook page and her husband suggested that she start a group.
“We're all on the same storm but not in the same boat. I keep seeing that and it's very true,” says Brittney Fraiser, Quarantine Confessions page creator. "You have your introverts or extroverts, you have people who are trying to diet and stay busy during all of this, and you have people who are just embracing it and staying in bed or, you know, just relaxing. All of it's okay. And it's nice to have that group where it's just like, Hey, you do you and I love you for it."
The group is open to everyone, so if you’d like to join just search Quarantine Confessions on Facebook, and the admin will approve you, and you can start inviting your friends!
