Confirmed COVID-19 cases in Michigan top 100,000

LANSING, Mich. — After posting 741 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday, the state of Michigan officially has more than 100,000 cases of coronavirus.

With the 741 new cases, the number of cases in Michigan has increased to 100,699.

Michigan also posted six more deaths, with the total coronavirus death toll in the state rising to 6,446.

In Michigan, 72,580 people have recovered from the coronavirus. A person is considered "recovered" by the state if they are "30 days out from their onset of illness."
