BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The City of Battle Creek is adjusting its building operations for the rest of the month in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community, according to a news release Tuesday.
City Hall and the Battle Creek Police Department will close to in-person services.
The city’s clerk, code compliance and inspection services are already available online and will stay that way for the time being.
Full Blast, the city’s recreation center, will only be open for court reservations.
The fitness center is also closing.
The city’s transit services are mostly unaffected – but bus riders will not be able to buy transit passes.
These changes go into effect Monday.
