There are two petitions circulating online that aim to have Michigan high school football played in the fall. The petitions come just a few days after the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) postponed the season until spring.

The petitions – "Bring Michigan Football Back" and "#LetThemPlay," already have thousands of signatures.

"We believe kids are safer at the felids (sic) with precautions rather than every day life. The MHSAA didn’t even give us a chance to show our pride to keep football safe and family at homes," one of the petitions reads.

The #LetThemPlay petition hopes to have MHSAA Executive Director Mark Uyl to reverse the decision and go with the vote taken by hundreds of high schools.
