2,856 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Michigan

LANSING, Mich. — The number of positive cases of the coronovirus in Michigan has increased to 2,856.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) reported the latest numbers of cases in the coronavirus outbreak this afternoon.

There were 2,295 statewide cases yesterday afternoon.
There are 102 positive cases in West Michigan, up from 83 yesterday afternoon.

The state says there have been 60 coronavirus deaths in Michigan. It reported 43 yesterday.
