LANSING, Mich. — The number of positive cases of the coronavirus in Michigan has increased to 12,744.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) reported the latest numbers of cases in the coronavirus outbreak this afternoon.
There were 10,791 statewide cases yesterday afternoon.
The state says there have been 479 coronavirus deaths in Michigan. It reported 417 yesterday.
In the U.S., there are 261,438 cases, and there have been 6,699 deaths — while 9,408 people have recovered, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.
