GRAND RAPIDS — A new retail and apartment complex is proposed for the Creston neighborhood.
North End Lofts is slated to include a 36 pet-friendly one bedroom apartments and retail space on the ground level. The project will cost about $7.5 million dollars once it's complete.
The new three story structure would be located near the intersection of Plainfield Avenue and Quimby on the northeast side of Grand Rapids.
Officials say further planning approvals with the City of Grand Rapids is likely within the next couple of months and expected to be complete by the end of 2020.
New End Lofts would cost renters under $1000 to start. On-site parking and bike racks would be available to residents as well.
