Muskegon County health department announces second presumptive positive case of COVID-19

MUSKEGON, Mich. — Early Monday evening, The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) announced a second presumptive positive COVID-19 case in one Muskegon County resident.

The case is an adult female whose history includes domestic travel. Muskegon County's Public Health department is currently contacting people who have been in close contact with the patient.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, the MDHHS is encouraging people to wash their hands, stay home, avoid close contact with sick people, cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, and disinfect commonly touched surfaces.
