The pandemic has affected so many different aspects of normal life, but the needs of those in search of life-saving blood remain. Versiti Blood Center of Michigan is asking businesses, churches, or other big groups and organizations to host a blood drive to help save lives.

Across the communities Versiti serves, more than 2,400 donors are needed every day to maintain a safe and adequate blood supply for patients. As businesses and schools are slow to return to normal, they’re in need of additional community blood drives.

Versiti is looking for community partners to reach out and invite their organization and members to make a life-saving donation. Community centers, churches, schools, businesses can all be great partners.

Versiti is looking to fill spring and summer calendars now to ensure the blood supply matches the need.

If you think your organization is too small or doesn’t have adequate space, don’t count yourself out. Versiti can work with you to find a solution that works.

Email savinglives@versiti.org if interested in hosting.
