Van Andel Institute opens registration for science summer camps

There may still be snow on the ground, but now's the perfect time to start thinking about summer camps for the kids. For kids who love science, experimenting, and creepy crawly animals, the summer camps available at Van Andel Institute of Education are perfect for them.

Van Andel Institute for Education is offering a unique summer camp experience for 2nd through 12th graders. Students will learn to think and act like scientists in hands-on and interactive investigations.

The following summer camps are available for students to explore:

2nd – 3rd Grade | Can you Dig it?

4th – 5th Grade | Animal Survivor: Pill Bugs, Newts, & Geckos, Oh My!

4th – 6th Grade | What's in Our Water? Exploring the Grand River

4th – 5th Grade | Girl Scouts: Journey Through a Life in Space

5th – 6th Grade | Life in Space: A Journey Through the Extremes

6th – 8th Grade | Crime Scene Forensics: Catching a Criminal

6th – 8th Grade | Power Up: Energizing the Future

6th – 8th Grade | Hogwarts in Grand Rapids: The Science Behind the Magic

6th – 9th Grade | Mission to Mars

9th – 12th Grade | Biotech Explorers

Cost for camps starts at $60 per child.
