Silver Star Cafe offers unique flavors when it comes to burrito choices. But the Grand Rapids restaurant does more than just feed people when they're hungry, the owners of this establishment- along with their food truck- use their business to help support local veterans.

Within the Silver Star Cafe and their "Deployed Unit", owners Nate Peltier and Nate Nowak extend their military brotherhood to all their guests to create a memorable dining experience through food and conversation.

Peltier and Nowak enlisted into the army with a food service military occupation back in 2002. Both were deployed all over the country and overseas in combat zones to prepare nutritious and delicious meals for troops. With their combined 12 years of service overseas and in combat zones, they decided to join forces and create Silver Star Cafe.

Their menu items are inspired by the places they visited during their time in the military. They serve burritos, nachos, and other tasty entrees inspired by flavors from all around the world.
