Here are the five things people are buzzing about around the water cooler this morning.

1.) Kansas City Chiefs outscored the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 31 to 20 clinching a Super Bowl victory in Miami.

2.) A Battle Creek woman by the name of Ellen Goodwill becomes one of the oldest people in Michigan at the age of 113.

3.) The FDA has approved the first drug to treat peanut allergies for kids between the ages of 4 and 17. Palforzia is not a cure but two-thirds of children tested were able to eat a small amount of peanut without having a reaction.

4.) A new program allows kids to read to shelter animals at the Humane Society of West Michigan. It helps the kids to read without judgment and with patience.

5.) Punxsatawney Phol didn't see his shadow on Groundhog Day which leads to his prediction of spring coming early.
