The famous downtown street party, Irish On Ionia, returns for it's 10th year of celebrating all things Irish on March 14.
To kick off the decade-old festival, Irish on Ionia announced it's bringing back the epic coin hunt. Golden coins will be hidden throughout downtown Grand Rapids leading up to the festival. If found, it can be redeemed for a VIP ticket to Irish on Ionia.
The event will consume three city-blocks, stretching up Ionia Avenue from Fulton to Oaks, and across Weston from Ionia to Commerce.
Also new to this year's festival, there will be a zero-waste policy with all bi degradable products which then will be sorted by a conveyor belt on-site.
Of course, there will be traditional headed tents, Irish inspired street food court, signature cocktail and beer tents, Celtic dancers, bag pipers, Irish circus troupes, and so much more!
The event will take place 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Tickets cost $25 in advance and $30 at the gate.
