Greater Ottawa County United Way is busier than ever serving the community as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect West Michigan families in multiple ways.
The Greater Ottawa County United Way just launched Phase 3 of their COVID response, raising funds to create a positive impact in the West Michigan community. They are entering the assessment phase, where they will conduct two big research projects to see how community impact is working.
They recently wrapped up their big annual volunteer event, which they changed from a Day of Caring to a Week of Caring due to the pandemic restrictions.
They also just finished a 21-day Equity Challenge, where over 1,000 people participated in learning about ways they can spread equality in the community.
