Tonight's Forecast: Becoming mostly clear and cool

GRAND RAPIDS — WEST MICHIGAN — The forecast from FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Kevin Craig: Skies are expected to clear for the overnight hours and cool temperatures will generally settle into the region with lows in the upper 40s and lower 50s. We expect continued pleasant and dry conditions the next few days with highs creeping into the mid/upper 70s by midweek. We also expect a mainly dry week at this point with only the chance of a shower coming later Wednesday and into Thursday as a strong, but moisture starved cold front slides through the state. Behind this front next Friday and Saturday, we expect pleasant weather, but sharply cooler temperatures with highs only in the low/mid 60s.

TONIGHT: Becoming mostly clear and cool. Lows in the lower 50s. Winds northwest/northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

MONDAY: Mostly sunny and pleasant. Highs around 70. Winds east-northeast at 5 to 10 mph.

MONDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies. Chilly temperatures. Lows in the upper 40s. Winds east/southeast at 5 to 10 mph.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and comfortable. Highs in the low/mid 70s. Winds south/southwest at 10 to 15 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and warmer. Highs in the upper 70s.
