KALAMAZOO — Police say a man was hospitalized after being shot on Tuesday.
It happened along N. Church Street in Kalamazoo.
According to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, a 24-year-old man was spotted running in the area with a gun. Officers caught up to the man, recovered the weapon and placed him in police custody. He was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon and for outstanding warrants. Police are investigating if the man was involved in the Church Street shooting.
The 22-year-old shooting victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
