GRAND RAPIDS — West Michigan will see another beautiful day on Sunday with party cloudy to mostly sunny skies! Winds relax staying out of the east anywhere from 5 to 10 mph.
Warm air advection will increase through the week pushing to high temperatures and dew points. This will push our afternoon highs on Tuesday into the lower 90s! ONce you combine that heat with the humidity we can have feel like temperatures in the upper 90s at times. Make sure to check on your neighbor and stay hydrated!
Late Tuesday afternoon and evening and continuing into the first half of Wednesday we will see our next chance for showers and storms. These showers, storms and strong winds will be the remnants of what is now Tropical Storm Cristobal, which is expected to make landfall on Sunday. Winds will be our biggest impact has we could have 10-12 hours of winds upwards of 40-50 mph gusts. Stay with us for updates and more details on potentially stronger severe storms.
Once we get past our showers and storms temperatures will cool off and we will bring back the sunshine. Enjoy!
